TUBYCON’s all-in-one urine specimen cup ‘TUBYCON-U’ passed all three biocompatibility evaluations — cytotoxicity, sensitization, and intracutaneous reactivity — conducted by the Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL), each receiving a ‘PASS’ result.
Biocompatibility testing verifies, in accordance with the international standard ISO 10993, that a medical device in contact with the human body does not cause harmful reactions. As a urine cup that contacts both specimens and users during testing, passing all three items provides supporting evidence of the product’s safety.
Building on these results, TUBYCON continues to strengthen product reliability and works to provide a safe specimen-collection environment for healthcare settings.
