TUBYCON (CEO Jehyun Park) received the Prime Minister’s Commendation at the ceremony marking the 61st Invention Day, recognized for its contribution to enhancing public health and safety and strengthening the competitiveness of Korea’s medical device industry. Drawing on 16 years of clinical field experience, CEO Park developed the world’s first “all-in-one urine cup” that integrates the cup and tube into a single unit, helping to prevent infection. Building on this, the company has secured more than 90 intellectual property rights across 56 countries for its specimen containers and earned NEP (New Excellent Product) certification from the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards.
Its flagship product, the TUBYCON-U all-in-one urine test cup with a detachable tube, features an All-in-One structure in which only the tube is easily separated and sent to the laboratory after collection. By streamlining the conventional, complex specimen-collection process into three steps, it fundamentally blocks medical staff’s exposure to infection and specimen mix-up accidents. A key strength is that it can be used reliably even at hospitals operating pneumatic-tube (air shooter) systems. With this award as momentum, TUBYCON plans to continue its field-driven medical innovation and devote itself to building a safe and convenient medical environment that both medical staff and patients can trust.
